Packing is the slowest part of most moves, and the part where breakage starts. A kitchen packed the night before in grocery bags is how plates crack. Our crews pack the way they load: heavy items in small boxes, fragile items in dish-pack cartons with paper and cushioning, and every box labeled by room.
You can book packing the day before the move or the same morning for smaller homes. Packing time runs on the same hourly rate, and boxes and paper are billed at cost with no markup.

What it costs
Packing runs on the same hourly rate as the move, with materials at cost. Your estimate lists packing hours separately so you can decide what to do yourself.
Questions
How long does packing take?
A one-bedroom usually takes 2–4 hours with two packers, and a three-bedroom house a full day. Kitchens and home offices take the longest.
Do you provide boxes?
Yes. We bring boxes, dish packs, wardrobe boxes, paper and tape, billed at cost. You can also use your own boxes if they're sturdy.
Can I pack some things myself?
Of course. Many customers pack books and clothes and leave the kitchen and fragile items to us. It's the most cost-effective mix.
